Nurse Deb Sterling-Bauer
The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Deb Sterling-Bauer, RN, Cardiovascular Nurse, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. Deb Sterling-Bauer is currently serving as Program Nurse Educator for the Heartfit Clinic
and is proprietor of DSB Nursing Services in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. With over 25 years of experience and extensive expertise in all facets of nursing, she specializes in cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation.
Deb Sterling-Bauer’s career in nursing began in 1990 when she graduated with her initial Nursing Diploma from the Misercordia Hospital School of Nursing. An advocate for continuing education, Deb gained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Alberta. She then went on to obtain her Certificates as a Medical Exercise Professional from the American Academy of Health, Fitness, and Rehab Professionals and her Holistic Nursing specialization. Furthermore, Deb holds additional
certification in Telemetry.
To keep up to date with the latest advances and developments in her field, Deb maintains a professional membership with the Canadian Nurses Association, the Alberta Association of Registered Nurses in Private Practices, the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, the Canadian Holistic Nurses Association, and the American Holistic Nurses Association and by reading the American Journal of Nursing. She attributes her success to her desire to be always learning new skills. When she is not assisting patients, Deb enjoys staying physical by skiing, cycling and hiking.
